Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Nota Bene, I discovered the essence of culinary innovation nestled away in Lviv. The on-site restaurant, Chehovych Roastery, serves a buffet-style breakfast that provides a hearty start to the day. I enjoyed sampling local Ukrainian dishes alongside traditional European fare—a delightful treat that resonates with my love for diverse culinary experiences. The lounge area was particularly inviting, offering a fragrant coffee selection, perfect for a quick break between meetings or a relaxing evening after a busy day of exploration. It allowed for connecting with fellow guests while enjoying light snacks—a nice addition to my dining adventures. That said, the hotel also has its drawbacks. The management's attitude left much to be desired, and I found the Wi-Fi slow and often unusable for my needs. Still, the clean rooms, coupled with the quiet ambiance, made my overall experience manageable. For anyone visiting Lviv, Nota Bene provides a simple accommodation option with an emphasis on culinary exploration, albeit with some service inconsistencies. It’s a convenient choice, but consider your expectations carefully.
